&lt;p>For two years, the industry has measured the progress of coding agents with a single question: does the generated code pass the tests? That&amp;rsquo;s the logic behind benchmarks like SWE-Bench, and it&amp;rsquo;s also the logic behind most of the triumphant announcements that have followed every new model release.
